Thanks to Sammy at Happy Family, Healthy Family for giving my blog a One Lovely Blog Award. To accept the award, I need to pass it on to some other blogs I have discovered recently as well as share seven things about myself that you may not know, so here goes.

Seven things you may not know about me:

I started playing tennis a few years ago, and I now love it, but I had hated it so much as a kid that the only class I ever cut was because of it.
On my first newscast in college, I didn't flip a switch when I was supposed to and there were five minutes of dead air.
I make a really good chili.
I once shook so violently while delivering an oral report on Paul Revere during junior high school that I was afraid I wouldn't make it back to my desk to sit down.
I rode a bike down Pikes Peak.
My family is convinced I once said "Ready freaks?" to my children, but it was really just a "Ready Freddy?" that came out wrong at the last second.
I wanted to sit with my husband in a giant clog in Amsterdam, but he wouldn't do it.
